Caribou and Munroes Island Provincial Park is in the Northumberland Shore region. The park has an open picnic area with access to a white-sand beach. This mile-long sand beach offers some of the warmest saltwater swimming north of the Carolinas, and the 95 overnight campground sites provide excellent opportunities for camping, or just appreciating nature. Hiking trails can be enjoyed along the shore to Munroe’s Island. Other activities include bird watching, canoeing and kayaking.
