Ship Hector Quay

When the ship Hector landed here in 1773, it marked the start of the great Scottish migration to the New World. Tour the full-size replica of the Hector and stroll through the Quay to learn more about the birthplace of New Scotland. In addition to the full size replica of the Hector, the Quay also has an Interpretation Centre telling the story of these early settlers, a blacksmith shop, a carpentry shop and the Ship Hector Company Store.
