One side trip follows Route 289 North to Little Harbour Road and Melmerby Beach Provincial Park.
One of the most popular beaches on the Sunrise Trail, Melmerby features lifeguard services, flush toilets, salt-rinse showers, change rooms, picnic tables, boat launch, abundant parking and washroom facilities.The beach is supervised in the months of July and August. The park also offers an accessible coastal viewing opportunity.
