Waterside Beach Provincial Park located just east of Caribou River (3 km /2 mi north of Route 6) along the Sunrise Trail in the Northumberland Shore region is a long, sandy, seldom crowded beach surrounded by lovely views. Stroll the boardwalk and admire the vistas of rolling farmland and salt marshes (bring binoculars for birdwatching). Picnic tables, change house and vault toilets are provided by the Nova Scotia park system. Of course, as most beaches along this Northumberland shore, the water is very warm.
