Gulf Shore Provincial Park – Northumberland Shore at MacLean’s Point – Along the scenic Sunrise Trail you’ll find this beautiful picnic park on a hilltop overlooking Northumberland Strait. There is an open field with picnic tables and some shelters. It is located southeast of Amherst, 5 km (3 mi) north of Pugwash. This sandy, warm water beach is a perfect spot for swimming. Facilities include a sheltered picnic area, pit toilets, change houses and water taps.
